A place to talk about eating meat that isn't all about feed lots, mad cow disease, chickens with their beaks cut off, veal calfs in tight, unlit pens. We like meat, we eat meat (for dietary or culinary reasons), but we'd rather have our meat healthy, grain-fed, perhaps even organic and *happy* before the poor things are offed and land on our grill.
Subjects include healthy eating, sustainable animal husbandry, responsible ocean and freshwater fishing & seafood harvesting, and avoiding unneccessary animal cruelty.
