BBQ association recommendation ?

I live in San Francisco and am looking for a BBQ association to join preferably in my region but more importantly one that embraces the ideals of this tribe. Anyone heard of such a thing?

    like, a backyard BBQ club that only grills meat from sustainabile / local / organic sources?

    i dont know of any such organization but bet if you started one it would be some hot shit.
